Snowshill Lavender Farm & Snowshill village
Date: July 16th
Time: 11 am
At: Hill Barn Farm, Snowshill, Broadway, Worcestershire WR12 7 JY
Visit to the lavender fields where there are lots of viewpoints, fields of wildflowers and amazing colours to be seen. Tea and shop on site. On-site parking which does get full quite quickly so car sharing may be a good idea.
We can then go on to Snowshill Manor and Gardens. The Manor House is packed with an extraordinary collection of treasures collected over the lifetime of its owner, Charles Wade. The gardens have a good collection of flowers and plants. This is a National Trust property so free if you are a member.
Or we could go to Broadway Village and take architectural photos of the Cotswold stone buildings. Plenty of refreshments available there!

Bristol Pride Day - Street Photoshoot
Saturday 8th July
Your guide is Bob Train
The parade gathers in Castle Park at 10 and then heads off along the Blue route to Queen's Square at 10:45. After there is a chance to take shots on the Dock Area around Millennium Square. It will be very busy and I suggest that we pair up rather than go a group walk.
Bob will be in Castle Park from 9:30.
Meet up at 1 by the Tourist office 1 Canon's Rd near Bordeaux Quay for a drink and natter.
Motor racing at Castle Combe. This is a BRSCC meet. Lots of cars, very easy access to the track and good positions to shoot from. Not famous cars but it is a local track and great for photography. For this one, you only need moderately long lenses as you can get quite close.
Ticket price is £10.
