This is a lecture on my personal view of what judges look for in the composition of a good picture using my own photographs to illustrate. There are lots of my pictures in this lecture which I hope would be of interest to photographers of all levels of experience and include some audio-visual sequences.
Peter says that he has spent most of his life taking photographs and have been an active member of Beacon Camera Club for over 25 years. He gained his LRPS and ARPS in Visual Art and then a second ARPS in MultiMedia. He has a full range of photographic styles, turning his hand to most things, and have had success in club and regional competitions and have served as a judge for many years. His current photographic interest is in creating audio-visual sequences.
